Extended Capacity Magazine created for USPSA and IPSC competitions, but for anyone who want higher capacity in their Tanfoglioi pistols. These mags will allow the OAL to be reloaded out to max length. The "Competition Magazine" is a factory magbody assembled and ready to go with the Grams Follower & Spring Kit cut to correct length with either a HENNING H-140, H-141, H-520 or the H-400 pads. All my pads uses a 4-40 allen screw which requires a 0.050" allen tool for disassembly. Because of the tight tolerance between the mag and the pad, I recommend getting the Bondhus ProHold Tip Screwdriver to make the job as easy as possible. "RELOAD" is the shortest mag and perfect for quick reloads. The "IPSC BOX" is the revolutionary magazine that has put the Tanfoglio Limited 40 back on the competition map in IPSC competitions. The "USPSA 141" is an upgrade from the previous 140 which makes it possible to reload to 21 rounds (magazine has been modified).

Tanfoglio recently changed the length of their 170mm magazine body since 2007. The 2008 magazine body can no longer use my H-170 pad and in fact it is too long for USPSA length. Which means the plastic pad has to be shaved off to fit the USPSA 171.25mm gauge. I replace the factory spring and follower with a 12-coil Grams setup, modify the feedlips and shave the bottom of the plastic follower to make sure it is legal.

I am working on a new pad which will bring the capacity back up to 29 + 1 rounds, but for now this is as good as it gets. You'll get 28 + 1 rounds in the magazine I build.

Factory blued small frame magazines comes with a metal plate at the bottom. These mags will only allow factory 9mm length ammo with OAL of 1.15" or factory 40 S&W with OAL 1.135".
